CONSIGNMENT STORE HELPS CHARITIES!

A consignment store in Roswell gives women the opportunity to sell their clothes and donate to charity.   Vintage and Vogue carries designer and upscale women's clothing, shoes and accessories.
Customers who consign their gently used items at the shop receive 40 of the sale price of the item or have the option to donate the money to any charity they choose.
Owner Maria Sullivan handles all the paperwork and consignors get  a monthly statement indicating the amounts they have donated.  "It's a 60 40 split and that 40 percent right off the top goes either to the consignor or the charity of their choice," Sullivan said.
Vintage and Vogue has a variety of fashions; some are decades old and others fairly recent.  Sullivan said she often carries  shoes with designer labels  like Manolo Blahnik and Prada in her shop.  "We sell them at a fraction of what you would pay somewhere else," she said.
The store is popular among those who have eclectic taste as well as women who want to donate their proceeds to charity.  Many items are in the $30 price range.
Vintage and Vogue requires an appointment to consign clothing.  To make an appointment call 678-495-GIVE (4483)
The store is located at 55 Park Square, Roswell
Georgia 30075.
